How branding did wonders for my business

Welcome back!

Back when I had a computer network company, my brand was, “Giovanna, a company owner who understands your needs as a business owner. She will design and implement a network infrastructure for your company that will best benefit your business’s bottom line and operations. Giovanna cares for your business like you would for yourself.” With that business branding of me, it told my target market of business owners (they’re the ones that write the checks), that I understood them. I created a common bond by branding myself as a business owner too. What made me different, and the value I brought to the table, was that I understood their needs, and that worked wonders.

Keep in mind a great personal brand can only survive and live on if you back up your promise. Your branding won’t thrive if you fail to take care of your client once they come in, or don’t to return phone calls, or fail to be punctual, or fail to provide any other of the services that you should as a business.
