A Business Plan for a Home Based Business

As a successful trainer and coach to Entrepreneurs all over the country I notice many interesting things most home based business Entrepreneurs do not have a business plan. I found that shocking considering most business people would have a business plan. If they were to go buy a franchise like a Dunkin Donuts. They would probably have a business plan that includes: the business goals and time line, finances, business hours, products, marketing plan and much more. With a home based business, most people don’t because it is so easy to start up. The company has everything already right there for you from the time you sign up. Therefore, I think people might have forgotten to take the time to actually write down a business plan.

 

A business plan for a home based business is really simple, but some of the simplest things in life are the things that we often forget to do. In the days follow we are going to cover the 13 Action steps to making a business plan for a home based business.

Hi Imperfectaction,
Thank you so much for sharing that information about having a business plan.I’ve been so busy doing my work and you just made me aware that I didn’t have a business plan. I have a plan of how many sales I want to make each week and the amount of money I want to clear, but that isn’t a good enough plan for my business. This shows me there is still a lot of work to do because my goal is to have evrything is place where it becomes automated to where I can just help my team. Thanks for that great insight.
