Now that you have decided what you are going to sell, be the specialist on it. You need to be able to describe exactly what you are selling. If you have chosen to sell a product, it is your duty to know that product. If it is services you’re selling, then it is your mission to understand your services. If you are selling the opportunity, obviously you need to know the compensation plan. Being able to describe and explain what you are selling is a must for you to go out and sell. Being a specialist on what you are selling will help you be a better marketer and be a much more effective presenter for your business. As a result, you will have more prospects, close more deals, and be more profitable. Take the time to educate yourself; you need to know more than your prospect.
