Define: What is the competitive edge of your business over other businesses like yours?
You got your head in the doors of your target market because you have the right kind of edge your target market is looking for. Now how do you get them to the meeting table? What makes your business the right choice for them? What is the competitive edge of your business? To answer that question, think back to what made you choose the business you are in. The reasons that led you to this business will be the same things that appeal to your target market. List them out, write them down. Those are your business competitive edge. At this point, you have unknowingly selected a Target Market Group of people who have common ground with you and chances are, they are a lot like you. Therefore, what you find to be a great value in your business is the same thing they find to be a great value in your business and in theirs.
