Millionaire Dropouts

I was on the phone with a very nice lady tonight coaching her on her business and she mentioned a few times, that she never had the proper education. I can hear in her voice that there is a little part of her that worries about that.
So to the nice lady I spoke with on the phone tonight. This is post is for you. Just a few people who didn’t have the proper education, no college degrees; yet by taking countless Imperfect Actions they were able to achieve the kind of success that goes beyond most college graduate’s reach.
Peter Jennings, famous television journalist. He is in the Broadcasting and Cable Hall of Fame, the winner of 14 Emmys, 2 times Peabody and had won 19 Polk Awards. Peter Jennings was a High school drop out.
Woody Allen, award winning American film director, writer, actor, jazz musician, comedian and playwright. One of the most respected and prolific filmmakers of our time, he produce an average of one film a year. Woody Allen’s grades were so poor that he dropped out of college.
Mary Kay Ash, founder of Mary Kay Cosmetics. She built a billion-dollar beauty empire, the authored three best-selling books. Her speeches and quotes inspire many people around the world. Mary Kay did all of that without any college education.
Michael Dell, owner of Dell Computer one of the largest hardware company of PCs and Servers in the world. It’s been reported that Dell’s annual revenue is more than $57 billion. Michael Dell dropped out of university at 19 years old.
Steve Jobs, CEO & co-founder of Apple Inc. - the first commercially successful PC to feature a mouse and a Graphical User Interface. Steve Jobs dropped out of college after only his first semester.
Bill Gates, the founder of Microsoft Corporation, the largest computer software company and one of the Richest People in the world. Microsoft’s annual revenue is reported over $51 billion. Bill Gates dropped out of college.
Walt Disney, the best-know motion picture producers in the world, the founder of Disneyland and Disney world. The Walt Disney Company now has annual revenues of more than $35 billion. Walt Disney dropped out of high school.
Henry Ford, owner of the Ford Motor Company, one of the richest and most famous men in the world. Ford Company has annual revenue of more than $173 billion. Henry Ford dropped out of school at 17 years to go to work as an apprentice machinist.
Milton Hershey, owner and founder of Hershey’s Milk Chocolate. The first nationally marketed chocolate. Milton Hershey only a fourth grade education.
I am not disrespecting the college education. I have the at most highest respect to education. My message is not that people don’t need college education.
I am merely speaking to people whom didn’t have a chance to have a college degree, to take action in order to achieve their dreams. Don’t let the lack of education stop you from taking action. Look at the list of people above, they all took Imperfect Action and all them understand “Imperfect Action is better than No Action” Give yourself a chance by taking Imperfect Action today!
