What is your theme song?

I have been working with my team on creating a theme song for Imperfect Action. Our goal was to create a song that would embody the spirit of Imperfect Action is better than No Action. This is going to be an uplifting and lively song, something we can tap our feet to and dance a little. OK, Dance a lot! The Vision of this song is to inspire people to live the philosophy of Imperfect Action is better than No Action, and to empower people to take action with their lives. In this journey of creating this song, I found myself getting very excited about the coming of the song. This song is becoming an anthem of my life.
The thought of a theme song that will embody a person, makes me wonder if we all have theme songs? I believe we all have different songs in us in different times; my question is if we can have a theme song that embodies the best of us. And when ever we get lost emotionally or spiritually we can simply just play our theme song, and it will remind us who we are, and what we are about. That would be the easiest inspirational thing any one of us can do, is to play our song.
Good friends of mine Hugo and Roxanne wrote about music to your ears, and they have the song unwritten on there; such a fantastic song.
As for me until the song Imperfect Action is ready. I love the song “Time of My Life” By David Cook.

Wow, what an incredible song!! We’ve never heard it before….we love it!! We can see why it’s your theme song. We might be adopting that one, too.
We also love “Blessed” by Martina McBride. I listen to it every morning.
You’re always giving us food for thought…..our wheels are turning once again. How wonderful it would be to have our own Believe Achieve song. Hugo says he’d want Prince to sing it. I say Alicia Keys, Martina McBride, Sarah McLachlan or Sheryl Crow. They’d have to audition for the part. LOL Maybe Prince can even do a duet with one of these talented ladies!!
Our lyrics would go something like this….”Believe Achieve….Believe in the Beauty of Your Dreams….Discover Your True Potential….Live a Life of Pure Happiness….Today is the Beginning of Your Your New Life….”

You asked, do you have a theme song. My theme song is by Mike and the Mechanic’s, “Get UP”. Find it and listen, if a dream lives in you you will “Get Up”.
About a year ago I was inspired to rewrite words to “Through The Years” by Kenny Rogers.
And in about ten minutes it was on paper. How? Couldn’t tell you; all I can say is if you feel an inspiration, go and do it NOW.

What awesome lyrics in the song, “Time of My Life” by David Cook! Reminds me of Soulshaping…a grounded ascension of the spiritual journey! Very cool!
With all the great songs out there, it’s hard to choose but one that is always inspiring when I sing it at my schools is “Testify” which is from the tv series, “Touched By An Angel” and has been sung by Martina McBride.

Loving that song. Motivating and upbeat. My theme song? That’s tough. I have so many songs that lift me up when I’m down.
For a while I had Margaritaville as a theme song though. As a rule I don’t listen to music that doesn’t make me sing.
Another uplifting and moving song for me is Amazing Grace. It touches my soul.
