To make your dreams come true!
Welcome back!
A dear friend of my Liz Strauss did a post on Dreams and Roadmaps. That inspires me to write down my belief regarding Dreams and Roadmaps.
I belief all dreams were started out as nothing but thin air. What brings a dream into reality is a plan, a road map! In addition to have the map, is the courage to take the actions to follow that map, to walk down the path of the un known. Then we have to be wise enough to be flexible with in our journey. Sometime we may have to take a detour or two and that is OK!
The journey to following the road map to your dreams usually is not easy. Even if your dreams are very noble and with the best intension; it still doesn’t grant you access to an easy street. In fact the nobler your dream might be, the more challenges you might encounter. Because that is the way of the universe giving back to you, by giving you the gift of wisdoms that can only come through the challenges. So, if you are face with a challenge, keep in mind you are being giving a gift. Then if you are face with a road block, get ready for an even bigger gift; because the detours are often time filled with hidden gems.
With all of that said, the point is, while it is so important to have dreams. We also need our road map and the courage to take action to walk our journey. Above all, we need the flexibility in our mind; be open to whatever else comes along the way.
Without a road map and actions, all dreams remained nothing but “Thin Air.”
Be adjustable in your journey and you will see gems where ever you look.

Hi Gio, a very important message. Many of us have dreams and aspirations but they remain just that. It’s important to at least take ‘imperfect action’!
Chineme

Imperfect Action is bettet than No Action
Good word! The key , as you stress, is action. Sometimes we feel that our dream is too big for us to accomplish and we freeze. We will be amazed with the results, if we take action. Jacques
Dear Jacques
I agree with you
Some time people may feel their dream is too big, but if they just little steps everyday. They will get there before they know it. Life is all about a lot of little steps each and everyday.

Thank you for sharing your dreams and inspirations.
Hi Giovanna,
I enjoyed reading your blog just now–you write sooo beautifully. I agree with a lot of what you had to say….faced with a challenge…keep an open mind that you are given a gift, need to be flexible in our mind to be open to whatever comes our way.
Back in the day, I had trouble finding a job, any job, no one was hiring, and the co that I was working for at the time went out of buiness aprox 10/01. It was really hard–spent several months looking in NJ and getting no where, so decided to keep an open mind and give working in new york city a shot–at the time, I was living in Middletown, NJ and had to take a train in which that got me into Penn Station. So, I just kept on taking a train in for several weeks and learning which subway went where and eventually got a job. Since then, I moved to Springfield, NJ and commute into Port Authority and just walk to work (W 57th & 11th Ave)–ok technically I can take a subway to columbus cicle and then walk three blocks, but I would rather have a longer walk–good exercise & pretty too–on my side of the st where I work–the trees have gold lights and then on the opposite side of the street, but more toward 9th ave, the trees are decorated w/white lights.
Hope you are having a nice day today!

Dear Nancy
Thank you for the kind words about my work
I enjoy reading your comment as well. You shared such a great story here. Because of your ability to keep an open mind, your world gets bigger. You learn the train systems, got a new job and took on a great habit of walking to work. This is good for your body and your spirit! How fantastic! Thank You for sharing your story, it will inspire someone to do the same.
Thanks for your comment; I look forward to reading more from you.

We couldn’t have said it better!!
Yes, dreams will always remain just dreams if we don’t take any action to pursue them. The courage comes from believing in yourself and knowing anything is possible and within your reach. This incredible combination leads you to achieving many great accomplishments.
There will be roadblocks and obstacles to overcome, like you say. But anything in life worth having is definitely worth working for. So, follow your dreams, believe in yourself and achieve great things!!
Many Blessings….

~ Believe Achieve ~
Very inspiring. Did you watch AMEX TV advertisement “Dream is not a weak flower. Dream is powerful. I am 65 years old, and I will take a movie.” I remembered that one. But, your article describe dream better than this clip. Because I also believe that dream start as a thin air. If you do not pay attention and grow it. It will not grow. Then one day, it will be powerful to drive you. Song Rose goes “The dream afraid of breaking, never takes the chance.” Thank you for your message.
Dear Hugo & Roxanne
You two are the perfect person to talk about “Believe in yourself and achieve great things!”
Well said
Your comments are always enlighting, and I really enjoy reading them. Thank You!
