A 17 years old young man name Nick Graham from Truman, Minnesota. Try to do the impossible ~ to saving his town. When Nick saw the only grocery store in his town Truman closed down. He knew this is very bad for Truman, Nick decide that he wasn’t just going to sit on the side line. He took action! Nick did odd jobs, he saved $10,000 and with the help of a Nonprofit agency. Nick was able to purchase the grocery store to save his town.
In his interview the interviewer asked, “When you first bought the place did you know how to run a grocery store?” Nick said, “To tell you the true, I never went grocery shopping before!”
This is a great example of Imperfect Action is better than No Action. Nick didn’t have the perfect plan, he didn’t have all the down payment, and he didn’t even know how he was going to run the grocery store.
All Nick knows is that his town needs this grocery store, and he feels the calling to help the town of Truman. That is what this was all about. And because Nick Graham believes in saving the town, so does the people in his town.
The wisdom of a 17th years old: “If you try hard enough and are willing to work and stick to it, you can accomplish anything you set your mind to,” says Nick Graham.
Thank You to Alexander Kjerulf for sharing Nick Graham’s story with me.

Hi Giovanna,
The thing is, nobody told him he couldn’t do it.
That is what we all need more of: absence of naysayers.
Thanks for sharing this story!
Cheers,
Mitch
