The Bill Gate of Christmas Trees.

Welcome back!

A lot of you may know of the Bill Gate’s story. The one about how Bill Gate sold the software program DOS to IBM without actually having the software. Gate only acquired DOS after he had already sold it and promised IBM he would deliver.

Well, meet the Bill Gate of Christmas Trees. Meet Vito Serrao! The Serrao family has been in the Christmas Trees business for many years. They started out with just Vito and his wife Diane; they had a little lot selling normal-sized trees. Then along the way, they had five little elves themselves. Vito is a man with big dreams. Vito bluffed his way into a major amusement park and sold a 60 foot tree which he doesn’t have, so Vito has to find the 60-foot tree to fill this big order… he found the tree high up in Mount Shasta in Northern California.

That was where it all began with the Serrao Family in their Christmas Trees Enterprise. You can see the Serrao Christmas Trees in a lot of the major shopping center. These 100-foot tall decorated Christmas Trees can cost more than $100,000.00 each. This year the Serrao Family has over 20 orders to fill.

Sometime in life a little bluffing is just the “Imperfect Action” you need! It worked for Bill Gate and Vito Serrao

Hi Giovanna

Interesting idea! I really hope some readers share their successes with bluffing! I’m afraid I’m not forward enough for that! Well, perhaps not yet ;)

Hi Giovanna,

Your post instantly made us think about a qoute we once read….”Believe it can be done. When you believe something can be done, really Believe, your mind will find the ways to do it.
Believing there is a solution paves the way to a solution.” -Dr. David Schwartz

Because failure was not an option in their mind, Bill Gates and Vita Serrao, paved their way to a solution and had enormous successes. This was a wonderful example of Imperfect Action. Thanks so much for sharing it with us. :-)

Many Blessings….
Hugo and Roxanne

They saw it before it became a reality! When you start an action it always starts a process and you see the steps one step at a time. They didn’t need the tree before they sold it!
