Steven Spielberg’s Imperfect Action.
Welcome back!

Success comes a lot easier when you love what you are doing.
When you are so passionate about what you do that you will do it even for FREE!
It is because if you are that passionate, no one and nothing can stop a you. Steven Spielberg is one of Hollywood’s best known director and one of the wealthiest filmmakers in the world.
At the early days for Steven Spielberg, he had to take a lot of Imperfect Action for him to get to where he wants to be.
To start off Spielberg was rejected by the USC School of:Theater, Film and Television 3 separate times. So Spielberg ended up going to Long Beach University to study English instead.
Then one day Spielberg decided to start taking Imperfect Action by sneaking into Universal studios and he found an abandoned janitor’s backroom, fixed it up as an office and turning up for work 7 days a week. Until someone mistakenly gave him some work to do.
So the Studios made him an intern and guest for the editing Dept. During that time Spielberg made a 26-minute movie called Amblin’ that scored him his big chance. That film won Spielberg a 7 years contract with Universal.
I am not saying you should break into Universal Studio! I am just pointing out that Imperfect Action is better than No Action. Try it! It may work for you.

Hi Giovanna,
An inspiring and funny story!! Spielberg, at the time, probably had no idea that sneaking into Universal could change his life. But his “Imperfect Actions” lead to where he is at today! He’s an incredible director and filmmaker. And to read his Imperfect Action story is truly inspiring!
Many Blessings….

Hi Amit
I have seen people not achieve their goals, when they think it is not working and they stop. When I see that I wonder what if they stay on it longer and keep trying, may be the reward is just right around the corner… they will never know.
I think the more we are commited to work on things, the higher chances luck come our way.
Thanks for your comment.

Imperfect Action is better thatn No Action
Hi Hugo & Roxanne
Steven Spielberg just did what he feel he did to do, instead of thinking too much about it.
That is one of the reason, he was able to take imperfect action!
Thanks for your comment, I enjoy reading it

Imperfect Action is better than No Action
Hi Giovanna,
That is so true… when you love what you do it is so much easier to do. My successful people will tell you that doing what they love is no longer “work”, and they will continue doing it until the pass on. That is the best way to enjoy life and earn money at the same time.

Imperfect Action is better than No Action
Hi Giovanna,
What a great example of “imperfect action” - sometimes we just have to start. Whatever it is that we love, whatever it is that makes our heart sing - even if it seems daunting, or “out there”, or like a real long shot - we’ll never know if we don’t try. And waiting for the perfect moment - will it ever come?

Imperfect Action is better than No Action
Hi, Giovanna,
I have seen Spielberg’s home in California. He has a fantastic, inspiring view from his windows.
The locals have a great deal of admiration for him because he followed his dream.
The picture that you have posted of him shows his dynamic spirit.
