Mistakes are Good!

Welcome back!

Oops!A reader Jen L. left this comment on one of the post Michael Jordan was beaten…: “We need tenacity to succeed in life. I wish I wasn’t afraid to fail and laugh at myself and then pick up and do it again. Thanks for an inspiring post. I always come here whenever I feel the need to comfort myself”.

Many of us know what Jen L. is talking about. We are afraid to fail and it is so hard to be able to laugh at ourselves and then pick up and do it again. This post is for all the Jens out there who has strong feeling about failure and mistakes. The following are a list of Quote on mistakes by famous people who has a lot of experiences with this topic.

Making mistakes never sounded so good then to look at all the thoughts and experiences through those quotes. I see the biggest lesson is keep trying, you’ll probably mess up, however, achievement will be found one way or another.
I hope you’re having a beautiful weekend.

Hi Giovanna,

Mistake ARE Good! I’ve always believed making mistakes is part of a growing process we all must go through in life. As long as we’re learning from them, we’ll continue to grow. The greatest lesson one could learn is to Never give up. Doing so, by far, would be the greatest mistake ever.

Hi Gio .. practise makes perfect .. Gary Player seems to be credited with this .. as he went through hours of hitting golf balls .. and he’s still practising .. , as is Tiger Woods and all the great sports stars ..

I like Mahatma Gandih’s quote .. Freedom is not worth having if it does not include the freedom to make mistakes. ~ Mahatma Gandhi

Absolutely! Not only good for us but essential to success. We need greater frequency not greater fear when it comes to attempts.

Mistakes are only stepping stones on the way to our dreams! Our world would have been cheated if Henry Ford and Michael Jordan gave up.

Well Gio,

Make no mistake in accepting and learning from your mistakes. ;) The thing is, it’s alright to make mistakes but I seriously think if we make the same mistakes again and again we are mistaken somewhere for sure.

Hi Lisa

I don’t think anybody Love making mistakes, the point is don’t let fear of mistakes stop us from doing things. ANd we have to be bigger then the mistake and be able to learn from it and get back up and do it again in a better way. :-) Thank you for your comment and sharing your thoughts.

Hi Sunny

Frist we need to be brave enough to allow ourselves to make mistakes, then we need to be smart enough to learn form the mistake and have the courage to get back up and try again in a better way.

I think mistakes come with the territory (growth).

I think the key then is to value growth over decline and learn to make the most of mistakes and fail forward.

Hi J.D.
I just love the way you put things: “value growth over decline”.
Thank you for your comment and I always enjoy reading what you have to say.
