Perfection
I created this site to spread my philosophy that Imperfect Action is better than No Action. So many times I see people let life’s circumstances get the best of them. Sure, No ONE ever hopes for illness, heartbreak, or misfortune, but the truth of the matter is these things happen all the time. We all desperately want to overcome these obstacles, but too often people wait and wait to find the perfect remedy or the perfect opportunity before taking action. And guess what? That perfect moment never comes, so they end up taking No Action at all. You don’t want to get caught in that trap.
My vision is for you to apply the philosophy that Imperfect Action is better than No Action, and begin to take Action with your life today. If you do nothing and wait, your life will never change. But by taking Imperfect Action, you’re giving yourself a chance to change your life for the better, and you’ll discover as I have that perfection is a journey of Imperfect Actions.

Thanks for this post — it resonated with something I’ve been thinking about lately, which is that perfection is really in the eye of the beholder anyway. I often find myself striving to do “perfect work” — a phrase I used to use when I was in school — and learning that there really is no such thing as perfection, except according to someone’s opinion, was very valuable to me.
I like the pursuit of improvement over perfection. Either way, the key for me is growth and enjoying the journey.

Hi Giovanna. Most of my career as a proofreader has been about making things perfect. But, even perfection can be flexible. What is perfect to one person is not to another. My favourite quote here was “When you aim for perfection, you discover it’s a moving target.”
