What are the difference between Winners and Losers?

Welcome back!

Winners VS. Losers

Winners VS. Losers

Winners vs. Losers

The Winner is always part of the answer; The Loser is always part of the problem.

The Winner is always has a program; The Loser always has an excuse.

The Winner says, “Let me do it for you”; The Loser says, “That is not my job.”

The Winner sees an answer for every problem; The Loser sees a problem for every answer.

The Winner says,” It may be difficult but it is possible”; The Loser says,” It may be possible but it is too difficult.”

When a Winner makes a mistake and says,” I was wrong”; When a Loser makes a mistake and says,” It wasn’t my fault.”

A Winner makes commitments; A Loser makes promises.

Winners have dreams; Losers have schemes.

Winners say,” I must do something”; Losers say, “Something must be done.”

Winners are a part of the team; Losers are apart from the team.

Winners see the gain; Losers see the pain.

Winners see possibilities; Losers see problems.

Winners believe in win/win; Losers believe for them to win someone has to lose.

Winners see the potential; Losers see the past.

Winners are like a thermostat; Losers are like thermometers.

Winners choose what they say; Losers say what they choose.

Winners use hard arguments but soft words; Losers use soft arguments but hard words.

Winners stand firm on values but compromise on petty things; Losers stand firm on petty things but compromise on values.

Winners follow the philosophy of empathy: “Don’t do to others what you would, not want them to do to you”; Losers follow the philosophy, “Do it to others before they do it to you.”

Winners make it happen; Losers let it happen.

I like the contrast between the winners and losers. Action is always the key. Lots of ideas look good on paper or sound good, until you actually make them happen. Winners find a way forward.

The Winner says,” It may be difficult but it is possible”; The Loser says,” It may be possible but it is too difficult.”

This contrast has presented itself repeatedly in my business career. While the difference in text is subtle, the attitudes associated with the two answers are 180 degrees apart.

Those who achieve great things always look for a way to do what is difficult!

Great post! There’s a lot of truth in the contrast you display here. It looks like it all begins with a mindset. The “winner” seems, in this case to look at things differently than the “looser,” and vis versa. I enjoyed this post. :)

Much as I dislike the idea of separating the world into “winners” and “losers” … there’s great stuff in here! Truly, we shape our own experiences with our beliefs and attitudes. In the end, what we create is entirely up to us!

An excellent post! I’d love to have this as a poster to hang on the wall! It would serve as a great daily reminder! Very nice. :-)

OH! Giovanna,

That is a winning post. It comes down to attitude and actions. We can get so much done if we but put our minds to it.

Hi Gio .. the losers stop, give up, fail to challenge themselves, fail to find another way .. or just simply don’t understand the ways of life .. or value what life is .. and our purpose in it ..
