the holding of secrets a sacred trust

Thanks for sharing all of these great quotes. I’m sure you remember a few weeks ago when I wrote a post on integrity. It’s such an important topic and I’m so glad you’re addressing it here!
One of my mentors had an interesting definition for integrity which was about “the whole.” I think it’s interesting because with that spin, it’s more about keeping congruence with your thoughts, feelings, and actions … or do what you say, and say what you mean.
Having integrity is being able to do what is right even if you have a chance to get over on someone. Its ones of those things where it defines who you are as a human being.

Also good reminder in the poem that damage to my integrity starts with careless gossip and convenient lying. How true, and how far down that path we can easily go once we start.

It would be nice if all of our Government officials had INTEGRITY, not the say what they have to to get in office and do everything but what they say they will do. They have the do whatever it takes to get in attitude. They will lie, cheat and steal to get in. How sad. It is good when you find a person that has true integrity. Sometimes they are hard to find. We can keep looking until we find them. Thank you for this post. Love the quotes.
